NewsG2K urges Gov't to table white paper on tax reform2012-10-06 08:57:02 | (0 Comments)
The youth arm of the Jamaica Labour Party, Generation 2000 or G2K is calling for the Finance Minister, Dr Peter Phillips to table the long awaited white paper on tax reforms at the next sitting of Parliament.
G2K has dubbed it as irresponsible that the white paper has not yet been tabled despite the Tax Reform Committee ending its deliberations in March. G2K president Floyd Green says the document must be tabled even if it means Cabinet will have to have an emergency retreat to finalise things.
