Two dead, two others hospitalised in Antigua plane crash

The Antiguan police have confirmed that two people are dead following the crash of a Fly Montserrat plane at the V.C. Bird International airport today.

CANA News reports that Sergeant William Holder confirmed the deaths of the pilot and a female passenger.

Two other passengers have been hospitalised at the Mount St John Medical Center.

Just after four o'clock this afternoon, the plane crashed onto the eastern section of the runaway shortly after takeoff.

Police and emergency officials are at the scene of the incident.
