Trelawny’s most wanted man Cassell Robinson otherwise called ‘Boysie’ and ‘Jaro’ has been shot dead by the police.
According to the police, he was killed during an operation in Race Course, Trelawny this morning. Police say Robinson was the leader of the Boysie Gang and that he was a major player in the criminal underworld where he specialized in crimes for profit. The circumstances of the killing were not released by the police in a statement sent to the media this morning. However, it said three Glock pistols, 163 rounds of assorted ammunition and two kilogrammes of cocaine were seized by the police during the operation. The operations team comprised personnel from the Mobile Reserve, the Flying Squad, the Trelawny Police and members of the Jamaica Defence Force this. Robinson was wanted for murder, shooting, illegal gun and drug smuggling among other crimes.
