UDC refutes allegations of Dunn's River fee hike

The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is seeking to make it clear that it has no plans to increase fees for entry to the Dunn’s River Falls and Park in St Ann.

The UDC says reports that it intends to increase fees at the attraction by 50 per cent over a two-year period are not true.

It says several activities are being undertaken by the corporation to address its current financial situation.

The UDC says securing and growing the revenue at Dunn’s River Falls over a two-year period is a primary area of focus.

The corporation says this will be achieved through the construction of additional amenities for customers, improving efficiency and increasing patronage by diversifying the product offering and providing food stalls on location.
