Manchester rape suspect to be charged soon

The police are reporting that the Manchester taxi-operator who has been arrested in connection with the rape of his goddaughter will be charged soon.

The suspect was pointed out in an identification parade yesterday.

He was taken into custody by the Mandeville Police last week Thursday, a day after he is alleged to have raped the 12-year-old girl.

The man had picked up the girl from school and was taking her home when the offence is reported to have happened.
