Cop accused of rape held at airport

A police corporal who has been under investigation for a sexual offence is now in custody after he was held trying to leave Jamaica yesterday.

The cop was arrested by airport police on suspicion of rape.

The policeman, who was allegedly unaware that a stop order had been issued against him, was attempting to board a flight when he was held.
