Three shot at Spanish Town supermarket

Police investigators are now on a crime scene in Spanish Town, St Catherine where three people were shot and injured by gunmen late this evening.


The police say about 7:50 p.m, a group of gunmen robbed a supermarket at the corner of Young Street and Burke Road.

Shoppers reportedly started to scream when the men fired shots hitting the three.

The gunmen then escaped.

The victims were rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital where they have been admitted.

Meanwhile, Young Street has since been cordoned off by the police as they process the scene.
