Spanish Town man beheaded in drug dispute

2012-10-18 12:06:23 | (0 Comments)

Rasbert Turner, Gleaner Writer

A 19 year-old man was beheaded in Spanish Town last night during what is said to have been a drug deal gone bad.

He has been named as Sean Anthony Thompson.

The Spanish Town police say Thompson went to the Thompson Pen community to sell drugs shortly before 9 o’clock when a dispute developed between him and other persons.

A machete was reportedly used to sever Thompson's head.

His attackers then escaped.

The police have not confirmed the motive for the murder, but residents say Thompson was killed after the senior person involved in the drug trade ripped off his clients then refused to go back to the community.

They say Thompson was sent in his place.
