This week in ‘On the Record’, outgoing Senior Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Caroline Hay assesses her 11-year tenure as a government prosecutor.

She reveals where next she will be heading and tells of her most difficult time in office.

“In your job as a public prosecutor you’re not around to be popular. You are around to do the job and to follow the ethics that govern you,” she said.
