Sangster Airport to close tomorrow morning

2012-10-23 12:25:42 | (0 Comments)

The management of the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay says the facility is likely to be closed early tomorrow morning.

In a statement issued a short while ago, the airport operators said at present Sangster International remains fully operation.

However, it says the airport management is prepared to close the airport tomorrow after the first outbound flight at approximately 8:00 a.m. local time.

It says the airport will remain closed during the storm and will re-open at the earliest possible opportunity.

Travellers are strongly encouraged to directly contact their respective airlines regarding flight operations.

They are further advised not to turn up at the airport without first making contact with the airline.

MBJ Airports Limited is also asking industry partners to continue to make contact with the airlines regarding flight operations before transporting guests to the airport.
