US Embassy closed to non-emergency cases tomorrow

2012-10-23 12:42:59 | (0 Comments)

As Tropical Storm Sandy heads towards Jamaica, the United States Embassy in Kingston says it will be closed tomorrow for cases which are not regarded as emergencies.

It says emergencies involving U.S. citizens can be reported by contacting the American Citizen Services Unit of the U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section.

The Embassy also says individuals with appointments to apply for visas or to collect DNA samples on October 24 should not visit its offices.

Their appointments will be rescheduled, possibly for November 7 and the Embassy says it is in the process of contacting applicants directly.
