The St Catherine police are searching for a group of men who slaughtered 22 sheep at a farm in Spring Village.

The owner Keith Allen says he got a call about 3 o’ clock this morning to check on his flock and when he did he discovered that his sheep had been slaughtered.

The police later intercepted a Toyota Corolla motor car and found 22 carcasses inside.

However the occupants of the car managed to escape.

The police have seized the vehicle.
