Mandatory evacuation order for coastal, low-lying areas

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) has issued a mandatory evacuation order for all persons in coastal and low lying areas.

The evacuation order is specifically for those areas with a high frequency of impact.

These areas include:

Kingston and St Andrew
Hope River Valley
Kintyre
Tavern
Bull Bay
Taylor Lands
Weise Road
Cane River Pen
Caribbean Terrace

Clarendon
Alley
Portland Cottage

St Catherine
Nightingale Grove
Sections of Lauriston closer to the Rio Cobre
Thompson Pen
Dam Head
Communities along NIC Infrastructure
Fairview
St Johns Road
Frazers Content
Hellshire Fishing Beach
