Portia cuts visit to Canada

Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller

Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller is cutting short her visit to Canada to be in Jamaica during the passage of Tropical Storm Sandy.

Simpson Miller is Canada on a five day official visit.

But this afternoon, acting prime Minister, Dr. Peter Phillips said Mrs. Simpson Miller would be returning to the island tonight.
