The National Water Commission (NWC) is asking members of the public to be patient with the agency as some of its systems are already down as a result of high turbidity.
Acting Corporate Public Relations Manager Karen Williams says systems are down in St. Mary, St. James, Portland, St. Ann and St. Thomas. She is urging residents to store water as the NWC may be required to shut down its systems to prevent mud from entering.
