A section of the Sandy Gully in the vicinity Sandy Park near Liguanea, St Andrew is now on the brink of collapse as floodwater gushing through the canal continue to erode its banks.

Senior Gleaner Editor Arthur Hall says despite the impending threat, the residents remain in their houses and the shelter at the Sandy Park Basic School is empty.
