Sangster airport reopened

The Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James has re-opened for normal operations.

The airport operator says there is no damage to the terminal building or the airport environs.

It has also released a flight schedule but says the information is subject to change.

Travellers are therefore encouraged to directly contact their respective airlines regarding flight operations.

The airport operator also says while the facility is open, it may take some time for airlines to resume their schedules.

At the same time, it is asking industry partners to continue to make contact with the airlines regarding flight operations before transporting guests to the airport.
