Police to conduct more tests on body found along Port Royal Road

2012-10-27 08:56:51 | (0 Comments)

Police investigators are now examining scientific evidence they say will help to determine if the body of a female that was found along Port Royal Road in Kingston last week is that of missing Post and Telecommunications Department employee, Tandy Lewis.

Head of the St Andrew Central Police, Senior Superintendent Derrick Knight, says the police should know more within a week.

Thirty year old Lewis has been missing from her St Andrew home since October 16.

The body of the female was discovered a day later in an area that was apparently set on fire.

The Kingston Eastern Police say a preliminary post-mortem has indicated that the victim was between 18 and 20 years-old and was four months pregnant.
