Wanted man shot dead in Mandeville

The police have shot and killed a wanted man in Mandeville, Manchester.


According reports, Dwayne ‘Frass’ Reid was wanted for murder in St Elizabeth, and for several crimes in Manchester.

Reid was spotted with a gun at Caledonia Courts, on Caledonia Road, Mandeville shortly after 2 p.m. The law enforcers were called, and on approaching Reid, he reportedly ran to a nearby car and opened fire on them.

The police say they returned the fire and Reid was shot.

Reid was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
