Police search for woman killer in Tawes Pen

A woman is dead and investigators from the St Catherine Major Investigation Task Force are searching for those responsible for her demise.

The incident occurred in Tawes Pen, Spanish Town, St Catherine. Police reports are that about 8:30 p.m. the woman was walking in the community when she was attacked by two armed men.

She was shot several times by the men and died on the spot. Residents told The Gleaner that the central St Catherine community has being enjoying relative peace and it is hope the incident does change that.
