Rasbert Turner, Gleaner Writer

A used car dealer who pleaded guilty to two counts of fraudulent conversion of monies totalling almost $2 million is to be sentenced on December 4.

He is 38-year-old Dwight Henry of an Old Harbour St Catherine address.

Henry admitted to the crime when he appeared before the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court this morning.

The court heard that in June he sold two vehicles on behalf of the complainant but did not turn over the money.

A report was made to the Old Harbour police and an investigation launched.

Henry was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of fraudulent conversion.
