St Catherine man convicted on carnal abuse charges

A St Catherine man found guilty of three counts of carnal abuse is to be sentenced on November 15.

He’s 29-year-old Marlon Armstrong of Spanish Town St Catherine.

The Crown led evidence that the accused had sexual intercourse with a child on three occasions.

Relatives saw the child behaving strangely and made a report to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.

An investigation was launched which resulted in the arrest and charge of the accused.
