Police kill two gunmen in foiled Old Harbour Road robbery

Two alleged robbers were this afternoon shot dead on Old Harbour Road, St Catherine by the police.

They and another man reportedly robbed a restaurant and later engaged the police in a shootout.

It’s reported that about 3 o’clock this afternoon the three men entered the establishment, brandished guns and demanded money.

It’s further reported that a police team spotted what was happening and attempted to accost the men.

The men reportedly opened fire on the police, who say they fired back.

It’s reported that during the exchange two of the men were fatally shot while the other man escaped.
