Mob beats boyfriend of murdered pregnant woman

The boyfriend of the pregnant woman whose body was found in a water tank in Clarendon is now in hospital under police guard.


The police have not released his name.

The head of the Area Three Police, Assistant Commissioner Derrick Cochrane, says the man was taken into custody after he was cornered by a mob and beaten in Thompson Town in the parish last night.

The body of 27-year-old Tenisha Hamilton was found in the tank on Wednesday.
She was said to be seven months pregnant.
