Heavy rains flood two Portland roads

Two main corridors in Portland are now blocked due to heavy rainfall in the parish.

The National Works Agency (NWA) says the main road leading into the town of Port Antonio is flooded in the vicinity of the Jamaica Public Service Company’s office.

Motorists coming from the direction of the courthouse are being advised to travel through Boundbrook.

The main road from Fair Prospect to Muirton is also blocked in the vicinity of the "See Me No More" corner.

NWA says the alternate route is through Rural Hill.
