NewsGrenada Opposition wants Parliament resumed2012-11-13 08:42:19 | (0 Comments) ![]() Grenada's Prime Minister Tillman Thomas - File Photo Former finance minister Anthony Boatswain made the call against the background of the recent decision by Standards & Poor's to reduce Grenada's foreign currency sovereign credit rating after the island missed payment on a bond due on September 15. Boatswain said the party is again calling for the government to urgently reconvene parliament to allow for a debate on the state of the economy. Grenada's Prime Minister Tillman Thomas announced on September 17, that the Parliament had prorogued early.
