Plans ahead to ease Papine traffic

2012-11-13 14:20:26 | (0 Comments)

The National works agency says a traffic management programme is being developed to ease the congestion that often occurs in Papine, St Andrew.

NWA Communications Manager Stephen Shaw the agency has long been looking at ways to address the problem in the area that is home to two universities and a hospital.

But he says the plans to manage traffic in the area will first be shared and discussed with residents before they are finalised.

He says the agency will be hosting a meeting at the Hope United Church in St Andrew on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. to discuss those plans.
