The education ministry is advising that some students of the Port Maria Primary School will be able to resume school tomorrow following disruption caused by heavy rains which affected St. Mary at the weekend.

The ministry says grade-four students will be facilitated at the Port Maria Preparatory and high schools while grade-six students will attend Brimmervale High School.

It says three of the five grade-five classes will be facilitated at the Emmanuel Baptist Church and the other two at Kurt United Church.

The education ministry says it is now exploring other options for grades one to three.

Meanwhile the Education Ministry says it will continue to work with all stakeholders, to ensure that feasible action plans are put in place on a long-term basis for this school.

The Port Maria Primary School has an enrollment of 1,059 students and 34 teachers.
