NewsJurors sent home in Boulevard trial2012-11-15 14:20:37 | (0 Comments)
The jurors in the case of the three policemen charged for the murders of Kemar Walters and Oliver Duncan have been sent home until Monday.
The court is now hearing evidence in the absence of the jury to determine if certain evidence should be given in their presence. The three policemen on trial are Assistant Superintendent of Police Victor Barrett and Constables Louie Lynch and Paul Edwards. The Crown led evidence that Walters and Duncan were taken from a plaza along the Washington Boulevard, St Andrew on the afternoon of December 23, 2004 and have not been seen since. Witnesses have testified that they saw the two men being taken away in an unmarked car by the policemen on the day they went missing.
