The Jamaica Netball Association has selected a 14-member squad for the upcoming Under-21 three-match series against Australia. The series will take place from November 23 to 25 at the National Arena. The opening match is scheduled to start at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. The teams will use the series as part of their preparation for next year’s Under-21 World Youth Netball Championships in Scotland. Shanice Beckford will lead the young Sunshine Girls. The squad also includes Shameera Sterling and Vangelee Williams, who were part of the senior team to the recently concluded Fast5 Netball World Series in Auckland, New Zealand. The remaining members of the squad are - Stacian Facey, Sade French, Thristina Harwood, Dhanyel Johnson, Shaunton Matheson, Shantal Slater, Antoinette Stone, Deneen Taylor, Adean Thomas, Khadijah Williams and Melissa Wright.
