Policeman murdered in St Andrew

A police corporal attached to the Motorised Patrol Division has been shot dead on Constant Spring Road, St Andrew in the vicinity of the Market Place.

Police investigators are now at the location processing the scene.

The details of the incident have not yet been released.

However, it has been confirmed that the policemen was a corporal.

The incident has resulted in a pile up of traffic on Eastwood Park Road.
