Wolmer’s Boys will try to remain in contention for the urban-area schoolboy football double, as the finalists of the ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel Manning Cup will be decided today.
The Manning Cup top four teams will contest the semi-finals at the National Stadium. Wolmer’s Boys will face defending champions St George’s College in the second semi-final at 4 p.m. The first semi-final begins at 2 p.m. and features Excelsior against Hydel. Wolmer’s Boys will enter the match as favourites after defeating St George’s College 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the Walker Cup Knockout on October 19. The Heroes Circle-based school has since progressed to the Walker Cup final where they will face Jamaica College.
