The People’s National Party (PNP) is to respond tomorrow to comments made by Opposition Leader, Andrew Holness, at the Jamaica Labour Party’s annual conference yesterday.

The PNP has not said specifically which comments by Holness it will be seeking to rebut.

However, yesterday a fired-up Holness chastised the Portia Simpson Miller-led administration for its running of the country.

He blasted the government particularly for its failure to seal a deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) almost a year after coming to power.

Holness also flayed members of the government for what he said was their evasiveness when they face the people and for playing politics.

The PNP is to make its response to the charges at a press conference set for 10 o’clock tomorrow morning at its headquarters in St Andrew.
