Justice of the Peace succumbs to gunshot wounds

Justice of the Peace Allan Whyte, who was shot by gunmen on Saturday at his business place in Spanish Town, St. Catherine has died.

The police say Whyte succumbed to his injuries last night.

Whyte is the President of the Parent Teachers Association at St. Jago High School and a senior Justice of the Peace in St. Catherine.

Earlier reports indicated that White was shot in his mouth and other parts of his body before he was robbed on an undetermined sum of money.

The incident happened at his Grocery and Flower shop in Job’s Lane Spanish Town.
