Portland police seize $30m worth of ganja

Hours after the police seized 3,000 pounds of ganja in St Ann, the Port Antonio Police this afternoon seized over 4,000 pounds of the weed in a separate operation in Snow Hill, Portland.

The police say about midday, a team of cops was on operation when they found the illicit drug valued about $30 million and 80 containers of gasoline valued about $600,000 in an abandoned house.

One man was reportedly seen running from the premises.

The police say no one was arrested.
