The Jamaican pair of world rated opener Stafanie Taylor and Shanel Daley are among a West Indies 18-member training squad to prepare for a seven-match series against South Africa and next year’s Cricket World Cup.
The players are now in Barbados for a camp, which runs until December 15.
The squad also includes two new players.
Shemilia Connell, a six-foot tall, right-arm pacer and fellow Barbadian Kyshonna Knight, a top order batsman, will join an experienced unit.
The squad includes most of the players who represented the West Indies at the Twenty20 World Cup, when the side reached the semi-finals.
West Indies Women are set to play South Africa in a seven-match series in January before heading to the World Cup in India in late January.
West Indies will play South Africa in five One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals.
The Women’s World Cup will run from January 31 to February 17 in India.
