NewsNEPA says Ferry area safe again2012-11-24 12:45:37 | (0 Comments) ![]() A section of the Mandela Highway leading towards Ferry, St Catherine. The assurance by NEPA’s Corporate Communications Manager Natalie Fearon follows reports by some residents this morning that they were still being impacted by the fumes that were released in the area. However, Fearon says representatives from NEPA visited the site of the pollution within the last hour and have reported that everything is back to normal. The pollution was first reported shortly after 7 o’clock last evening and Miss Fearon says within minutes NEPA and other first responders were alerted by officials at the company involved. This is the second pollution incident in the last two weeks.
