NewsTurbidity affecting NWC systems in St Mary2012-11-26 16:31:22 | (0 Comments)
The National Water Commission (NWC) says following heavy rains in St Mary, six of its water supply systems in the parish are now out of operation because of high levels of turbidity.
The NWC said the affected systems are in White River, Lucky Hill, Castleton, Palmetto Grove, Iterboreale and Rock Spring. According to the commission, customers served by these facilities will experience disruptions in their water supply until the conditions improve. The NWC said it is working to restore normal water supply to the affected areas at the earliest possible time.
