Dr Warren Blake returned as JAAA president

Dr Warren Blake has been returned as president of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA).

Blake polled 177 votes to beat his nearest rival Lincoln Eatmon, who got 121 votes, and Grace Jackson, who polled 28.

“The membership knows best and the membership elected me to continue,” Blake told reporters a short while ago.

He attributed his re-election to his performance in his almost one year as the JAAA president.

The election of the other officers of the new JAAA executive is continuing at this hour at the National Arena in Kingston.
