The Grand Palladium Hotel and Resorts in Hanover has launched a workplace policy on HIV-AIDS.

The policy addresses issues such as non-discrimination, confidentiality, continuation of employment and creating a health work environment.

Today is being celebrated as World AIDS day and the launch of the policy was one of several activities held to mark the day.

Director of Human Resource at the Grand Palladium, Radcliffe Robertson, says the policy is about reducing HIV-AIDS related stigma and discrimination through education, training and greater involvement of persons living with HIV.
