Rasbert Turner, Gleaner Writer
A senior police officer at the Linstead police station says the owner of the pit bull that mauled two-year-old Ronica Gregory to death has been identified. We are told that an investigation is now underway to determine what exactly happened. In the meantime, Ronica’s sister who was injured by the dog, is said to be recovering well. Inspector Cleveland Wood said that her injuries are not life threatening. Reports are that she fought to save her sister from the dog. Ronica and her sister were attacked on Tuesday night, as they were walking through a yard in Rosehall near Linstead in St. Catherine.
