Elderly woman killed in St Catherine

A senior citizen was last night shot and killed in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

She has been named as 62-year-old Pauline Israel.

Reports say the woman was at her house at 91 St. John’s Road, when gunmen entered the yard about 7.30 p.m. and started shooting.

The elderly woman is said to have received multiple gunshot wounds.

Israel was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where she died while being treated.
