Gunman killed in St Catherine

The St. Catherine North Police are reporting that an alleged gunman was fatally shot during a shoot-out along Bongo Lane near to Spanish Town last evening.

They say they seized two illegal firearms during the incident involving cops and two alleged gunmen.

The other man reportedly escaped.

The guns seized are a pistol and an AK-47 assault rifle.

In addition, a magazine with eight cartridges was also seized.

The incident has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
