MoBay United beat Boys’ Town

Montego Bay United will enter Match Day 17 of the Red Stripe Premier League in fourth position after defeating Boys’ Town 1-0 in their Monday night fixture at Catherine Hall.

Match Day 17 kicks off tomorrow with four games, but Montego United and Boys’ Town will be in action on Thursday.

Fabian McCarty scored the lone of last night’s contest from the penalty spot in the second minute.

With the victory, Montego Bay United moved to 26 points to trail leaders Harbour View by five points. Waterhouse are also 26 points, but are in third place courtesy of a better goal difference.

Defending champions Portmore United hold down second place on 27 points.

Following the defeat, Boys’ Town slipped to eighth spot with 23 points.
