Livern Barrett, Gleaner Writer

Police Inspector Dadrick Henry has been arrested on corruption allegation.

Henry was arrested at the Supreme Court building this afternoon for attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The arrest was made following a ruling from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Our source says at the time of the arrest a warrant had already been secured.

Henry is based at St Catherine South Police but had been on suspension because of his involvement in another case.

That case also involves a female member of the police force, who Henry is alleged to have threatened while interfering with witnesses.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Selvin Hay who heads the police Anti Corruption Branch confirmed the arrest but declined to reveal details.
