St. Mary teacher out of coma

2012-12-12 12:04:12 | (0 Comments)

The basic school teacher who was hit on the head with a decorative block by a parent is now out of coma.

The teacher was attacked last month, after she ordered a five-year-old child to clean up his urine.

Unhappy with the teachers’ directive, the child’s father who also worked at the school, threw a block at the teacher knocking her unconscious.

The incident happened at the Timothy Burke Basic School in Lucky Hill, St Mary.

The father, Clinton Irons, was charged on November 29 with wounding with intent.

He is scheduled to return to court tomorrow.
