Boulevard trial to resume Friday

2012-12-12 12:19:25 | (0 Comments)

The Boulevard murder trial is to resume on Friday before the 12-member jury.

The jurors showed up for court this morning but were told to return on Friday because the lawyers are still making no case submissions.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Victor Barrett, Corporal Louie Lynch and Constable Paul Edwards, are charged for the murders of 22-year-old Kemar Walters and 44-year-old Oliver Duncan.

The men were taken away from a plaza in St. Andrew on December 23, 2004.

Several witnesses have testified that that Walters and Duncan were seen with the policemen on the day they went missing.

The men have not been seen since and the Crown is alleging that Barrett covered up the incident when a report was made to him.
