The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), has given the government a failing grade for its performance during its first year in office.

Yesterday, the governing People’s National Party (PNP) said it has delivered on the core promises it made to Jamaicans.

However, the JLP General Secretary, Dr Horace Chang, said the PNP has failed to provide leadership to the country.

Dr Chang said although a year is a short time, the government must be blamed for the country’s unstable economic situation.

The PNP will mark its first anniversary of the Portia Simpson Miller-led government in January.
