The police are now trying to determine the identity of the elderly man whose body was fished from the Kingston Harbour in downtown Kingston yesterday.

Police investigators are also trying to determine the circumstances that led to the man’s death.

The Constabulary Communication Network reports that shortly after 6 a.m. yesterday residents reported seeing the body floating in the water and alerted the police.

Eyewitnesses reported that the man jumped into the water along Ocean Boulevard.

However, the police say they are unable to confirm this.
