Body of woman found in Portmore still unidentified

The St Catherine police is yet to identify the body of a woman which was found in Passage Fort, Portmore at the start of the weekend.

The woman is of dark complexion, medium build and about five feet six inches tall. She was clad in a blue blouse and blue jeans skirt.

Reports from the Waterford police are that about 2:15 p.m. Friday, passersby saw the body on a canal bank in Palmetto West in the community and summoned the police. The body was removed to the morgue.

Investigations are ongoing.
